WELCOME!

Parent Handbook
WE ARE ALWAYS GLAD TO WELCOME NEW PLAYERS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO THE URICRA & RIVERDALE COMMUNITY. ON THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND INFORMATION FOR THE PERSON WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE UPPER ROCK ISLAND COUNTY RECREATIONAL ASSOCIATION (URICRA).

Located at Dorrance Park in Port Byron, IL., URICRA is a program that utilizes baseball, softball, flag football and soccer for players (and coaches) to learn valuable life skills. Our program is designed to be both instructional and fun. The objective is to teach fundamental skills and promote good sportsmanship and fair play.

We encourage all family members to get involved if they are able. Our volunteers make the season & program successful for your kids. The league has several opportunities for parents to get involved, both on and off the field. If you have any interest in helping out this season, email [email protected] to get started. You can always help your respective coaches once teams are created.
Our league operates as an all-volunteer program, and therefore relies on the support of our network of families, local businesses, corporate and community sponsors. Through this outpouring of support, URICRA continues this tradition and mission, so that over 500 boys and girls can participate in five different divisions of baseball & softball, soccer and flag football each year.

Spring Season Registration (T-Ball, Softball & Baseball and 10u, 12u & 14u Soccer) opens January 1 and ends the first week in March.
Fall Season Registration (6u-14u Soccer and 3rd & 4th grade Flag Football) opens in May and the registration deadline is Mid-August.
